WELCOME TO H.A|A PLACE FOR ARCHITECTURE|AND|DESIGN

We say Thank You Sean Riley !

"I spent 2 years and made over 100 prototypes and wanted to make sure the form and function was perfect before we brought the Kiwi to market."
- Sean Riley

If you're an architect or an architecture student, you know the struggle when making models. Let's all say that when working on a new project, finding the concept or even drawing the plans, the elevations and the façades etc. is so easy compared to when making a model. You spend days and nights cutting, putting glue on a lot of pieces but it doesn't work, so you have to start it all over again, and again...and again. Your eyes become itchy, you can not focus, and your fingers are just swollen and not functional anymore because of the poorly designed pen knives. But let's stay positive, someone who knows the struggle, someone who shares this pain has finally come up with a new tool that obviously will make our life easier. This person is called Sean Riley, he spent about two years working on a developed tool that cares about our poor fingers. The tool is called KIWI, "an innovative ergonomic cutting tool designed to reduce stress, strain and promote prolonged productivity" . The Kiwi is perfect for both right and left handed people, it comes in solid wood handles and molded plastic handles. Thanks to the magnet in Kiwi's handle, it will help you pick up the knife when it's on a surface that makes the process quiet impossible. The project is on KICKSTARTER and has also been featured on Archdaily. To discover more about the ERGO KIWI go to :
