Hotel Mercure Quemado, Al Hoceima, Morocco

La playa Quemado :



The Quemado beach in Al Hoceima, was once one of the many beaches from where spanish troops entered northern morocco. To do so, they first had to burn the forest which used to exist and thus the name "Quemado" meaning "burnt".
Before the new Mercure hotel, there used to be two previous hotels set at the beach, where people came all the way from spain to stay.

The Mercure Quemado Resort Al Hoceima is a luxurious hotel that counts 102 rooms, 48 apartments, 32 high-end bungalows, a spa and a business center.
